Are you curious to know whether you have cancer or are at risk for a heart attack?
Heart Attack Prevention Questionnaire
Lung cancer, which kills more men and women than any other cancer, shows no symptoms until it is already in the advanced stage at which most patients only live one year even with treatment, can be detected by low radiation electron beam CT (EBCT) scanning and therefore treated in the easriest stage before it has spread. Anyone who has ever smoked 100 cigarettes or more is at risk for lung cancer, but anyone can get the disease. The September 4, 2011 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine reported first ever reduction in death rate from lung cancer found with low radiation CT, showing that early preventative screening with EBCT scanning saves lives. Chest X-Ray is not useful for detecting early stage lung cancer.
Similarly, early detection and treatment can also prevent heart attacks and worsening of heart disease. In over 50% of American, the first symptom of heart disease is a heart attack which has a mortality of 80% for those below 65 years of age.
The major risk factors for heart disease include males aged 45-75, females aged 55-75 years and younger persons with two or more risk factors (diabetes, high cholesterol, any history of smoking, high blood pressure, obesity, and family history of heart disease). Roughly 50% of Americans over the age of 20 years have at least one risk factor.
Find out if you have heart disease or are likely to have a heart attack in the next five years with a 20-second heart scan for only $99, or a chest (to detect early cancer and aneurysms) and heart scan combined for only $249. Call 832-BE-SCAND.
